Cozy and nice room with all the amenities for cooking, laundry, refrigerator and the sofa and table. It was nice to have the sliding doors separating the bed when I am cooking. Nice and quiet place to rest at night away from street noise. Good location to walk to many tourist locations and affordable cab fares to and from the hotel. There is a cafe just in front of the hotel door to get drinks and there is a local diner beside to dine in. There are other stores and restaurants within the main street as well.

A bit steep slope road to walk to the entrance of hotel. There are no lifts but only stairs on the way up to the apartment room. Not suitable for elderly or those with legs or knees medical condition.

Great location and comfortable stay

It was very comfortable and easy. We have infant twins and there was ample space upstairs for their portable cot. The location was close to Seoul station making transportation easy. And the residence emailed ahead a map, YouTube video showing how to get to the property and the addresses for taxi drivers. I would definitely stay here again.

The stairs were very steep, we put our trash out but received no replacement trash bags, and the bathroom was tiny. Also, if you follow the map, etc. for the apartment, it says to go our exit 15 of Seoul station. If you are arriving via train, the closest exit is 3 which is very near 15 however we walked through the entire station for 40 minutes to get our exit 15. We felt pretty stupid the next day when we realized our mistake.

The room is nice and clean with great bed and facility, but we thought there will be a balcony or nice window view when browsing on the booking site. However, we found it is not every room in this hotel with a balcony after checkin and feel a bit disappointed about it. Hope the host could provide a more clear information on the site for guests.

A quiet, comfortable space with excellent service, just a stone's throw from Seoul Station

Hanso Residence was an incredible value, and so conveniently close to Seoul Station for traveling around the city. It was a pleasantly quiet and peaceful stay, so quiet it's easy to forget you're in the heart of the city. The beds on the first floor and loft were extremely comfortable, the place itself was very welcoming and cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. One of my friends left a few of her camera accessories in the apartment, and Lavender, the property manager, contacted us within the hour to let us know the cleaning staff had found the items. We were already halfway across the city by that point, but she offered to personally meet me at the apartment so that I could pick them up. I would absolutely stay here again.

I have no real complaints. My only issue had more to do with my being taller - 5'11"/180cm - since that made the angled ceiling in the restroom a little tricky to work around, but the room was of such high quality that it was a very easy issue to overlook and I don't think most people will have a problem with it.

Overall great and in a good location for maximising a short stay in Seoul

It was really clean and in a good location.

Upstairs was a little cold, it didn’t come with w-fi and if you wanted it it had to be ordered the day before you received it which was a little inconvenient but fortunately there was plenty to see and do and we weren’t home much at all. There seemed to be 2 washing machines and no dryer in the apartment. We’d have loved access to a dryer so we could wash and dry clothes (we stayed in winter) or instructions in English on how to use the washer. We couldn’t find the roof garden depicted in the apartment pictures. To be fair, I’m sure if we’d asked Lavender about instructions for the washing machine or the location of the roof garden she would have helped. Lavender was quick to respond on WhatsApp and most kind.

Great stay at Hanso Residence

Very good location close to Seoul station with lots of convenience stores & food choices nearby. There is also a Siloam spa down the road - great for those wishing for a relaxing soak on a freezing night. The hotel gave us very specific directions so reaching the place was so easy. We were pleasantly surprised by the kind gesture offered - there was a Christmas cake from Paris Baguette, no less, waiting for us when we returned on the night of 25 Dec. Also the staff support was good and prompt. Thanks so much Ms Lavender!

Not the property's problem but ours as we didn't think of the hassle of lugging heavy suitcases up the stairs.

I know Seoul, so I'm just looking for a cozy place to stay, and Hanso appeared to be the perfect one.

No lifts. You may not find if suitable if you are with lots of luggage.

generally, apartment is okay and is in very good location

-Very good location, near the seoul station, accessible to express train going to incheon airport. -the location is also near lotte mart and outlet mall, and convenient stores are around the area -the apartment is nice except for the low ceiling bathroom. -quiet neighborhood

-I did not like the low ceiling of the bathroom. My husband and son are quite tall, it was a challenge for them to use the bathroom -the apartment is a little bit dusty and the stairs have narrow steps
